- Went to Amy's to get a CF card for the camera. She only had a 16MB card, so we could take 5 or so photos, but better than nothing!
- Boost Juice close
- Caught the train into Central and went to go to Cam's, but found Dee, South America and Josh on the way, so detoured to Chingalings
- Back to Cam's for drinks and Connect 4
- Uncomfortable snooze on the couch. Set my alarms for an hour and a half's time to get the train home early.
- Caught the train into Central with Nath, Amz a couple of cameras and a tripod. Feeling Video Production nostalgia
- Interview with Emily and Raquel for FBi website. Their place was incredible
- Antique shopping and coffee with Amz
- Met Nath and caught the train home
- Found my new camera had been delivered. A little too late unfortunately.
- Went in to Uni early with Nate and sat at Manning finishing off Popism: The Warhol Sixties. Good book.
- Tutorial time. Amz and I were pretty much the only ones who had done the work. Lucy didn't show up!
- Sat in the sun with my Mar's Bar and croissant and had lunch with Amz
- Met Nath on the oval for Bento, but I'd already eaten.
- Charged my phone at the Apple Store then met Ange and Nicole for a fashion sale and dinner at Thai in Surry Hills.
- First day of Uni! Met Amz and Lucy and got super lost trying to find the room. None of us had written down where the class was being held. Genius.
- Forced Nathan to come home early with me! It was raining so badly.
- Tried to find the best Graphic Design course to do next year. Apparently it is my new potential career.
- Also realised how awesome the E-3 Visa for Australians entering the USA would be. Need to have a job first though.
- Downloaded the Adobe Creative Suite again. Yay.
- Open at Boost with Tash and Georgia. Porgie hid my drink and distracted me from recovering my phone. Unfortunate.
- Met Dee and Tash and got Ritz Chix for lunch, then went back to Dee's to sit in the last of the afternoon sun
- Boozy catch up dinner with Dee, Tash, Amz and Mia. Good times making a ruckus out the front at Cedar's despite them trying to give us the boot before 10:00 pm.
- Back to Dee's to continue the party. Early wake-up catching up with me. Used Dee's new remote for her camera to attempt a 'family portrait'
- Nath picked me up and dropped Amz and Mia home. Finally rescued my picnic basket from the oh so long ago Broken Castle. I'm too scared to open it.
- Back to Uni. My bus didn't turn up so I ended up being late to class. I don't seem to be having much luck with transport lately!
- Internship Project lecture was sort of scary. Actually made this project that I have been putting off for a year seem real. Funny to think of all of my friends that did it a whole year ago.
- Lunchie munchies at Broadway with Amz and Lucy. When will I learn that food court Asian is always feral. Always!
- Waited for Nath to finish and chilled with Amz. Picked up our film essays and lay on the grass talking shit about screenplay ideas.
- Went to see Harry Potter again with Nathy! More Skittles. Need to stop eating them. I've returned to the glory days of my high school Skittles obsession.
- Arrived at the Festival just in time for The Middle East. Blood was an awesome singalong!
- Ate a divine pie. Decided to restrict my food intake after the previous day's binge on awful, terrible food
- Stayed with Tash for most of the day but met up with everyone for a massive dance to Friendly Fires. Couldn't believe Amz missed Paris! The horror.
- Staked out the main stage waiting for MGMT and The Flaming Lips. Found Amz and Dewey and all of the people we were staying with. I went ballistic in MGMT especially hearing their new songs. Everyone else was a bit underwhelmed. Flaming Lips were unreal. I want to find out how you get to be one of their dancers! Do you realiseeeee?
- Quick trip to Tipi and then the trudge home. Nathan gave me a piggyback. World's greatest karaoke dance party at home. S Club 7 absolutely went off.
- Woke up with a splitting headache. Was seriously worried that something in my skull might burst. Readied for Splendour and then started drinking out on our deck with everyone, shared sections of the newspaper
- Walked to Splendour. Was a bit further than we had anticipated. Saw Yves Klein Blue. I think.
- Went to Tipi Forest where the annoying theme song of the weekend made it's debut. Riverside Motherfuckers!
- Walked to the camping ground to meet Amz and Mia. Parked there for a fair few hours and had far too many drinks. Everyone left and we had a singalong to Wild Horses and New Slang in the car. Thought I had lost my ring but had really only lost my shit.
- Back to the Festival just in time to see the end of Bloc Party. Ran into Carlie and Michael, held hands and danced around in a circle. Back to Tipi and then home for more dance party action.
- Spoke to Nathy on the phone for the first time since he has been away. Nice to have a proper conversation with him.
- Amz came over and we stole Nath's car to drive to Newtown to see Coco Avant Chanel. Amy fell in love with the QAC and Audrey was amazing as usual.
- Found a clothing rack on the way back to the car and contemplated chucking it in the boot for Dee. It was held together with tape and was covered in dirt so I talked Amy out of it
- Trotted around in our heeled boots. Amy made a fake ciggy to look like Coco. Took silly photos of HP and Twilight graffiti
- Dinner at Royal O with Boost girls, Carlie, Tash, Laura, Chrissy and Christie.
- Decided to go to Tsuki for the second half of the day instead of the first. So much more convenient!
- Packed all of my suitcases and garbage bags into Nathan's car
- Tsuki half day
- Met up with Amy, Cam, Nicki and some of their other buddies for some drinks at Strawberry Hills
- Home to complete the packing. Will it ever end. Had a quick break to watch the end of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
- Woke up at crackers again to go to the shoot for Stay-In-Bed Day TVC with Amy
- Met a bunch of people: Cam, the executive producer and trackies lover, Tim, the producer, James, the gaffer, Nicki, the art department/wardrobe assistant, Susie, the stills photographer. Fun times.
- Lucy had come along too, and we made lunch and cleaned up shit. Ah, so this is what a production assistant does. I didn't mind though, cause I'm obsessed with filmmaking. I'd do almost anything to get onto a set!
- On one of the many runs up to Woolies we got in the car just in time to hear the Number 1 Song on the Hottest 100 of All Time. Nirvana. Talk about perfect timing.
- Amz drove us home and we decided we were all too tired to go out for drinks.
- Went to Oatley Park for Broken Castle, a small local music festival organised by some friends
- Had the best day hanging out on the grass with Dee, Amz, Mia and Nicole. We made a proper day of it and bought drinks, rugs, and a full picnic hamper with lots of cheese, dips and snacks.
- Watched Bon Chat Bon Rat and Only The Sea Slugs. Really awesome.
- Stopped at the pub on the way home and asked Marco if a girl had tried to get into Fusion with an open bottle of champagne. It was Amz and he remembered her. I was probably too drunk to be at my workplace
- Went back to Mitch's house down on the water and continued the party. Nathan came over, we ordered Jai Dee thai, huddled around the heater, braved the cold to sit outside and lay on the floor listening to music
- Jess and I dreamed of our overseas adventures on the walk to Tsuki. Can't wait. More that 300 days though. Shit, it won't even let me book a flight yet.
- Had a fat chat with Amz on the trip from Tsuki to Uni via ANZ. Talked about her rad internship with Hugh Jackman's mate, XYZ Networks internships and jobs, her French oral and Broken Castle this weekend.
- Quick Uni research session. Photocopied what is sure to be useless and irrelevant information for my essay. Makes me feels like I'm doing something. And you have to start somewhere.
- Received a messages from Nath's Mum, "Matilda Rose has entered the world." So excited!
- Straight to the Bistro. Again. Quiet night. Thank God. Iain was hosting the ping pong tournament so had someone to talk to, or rather make desserts for, after Jess left early.
- Early morning dreams of sleeping through the whole day and forgetting to go to Tsuki
- Alarm went off and I actually got up and went to Tsuki
- Started long lead pitching for the Russian Resurrection Film Festival. Apparently Hipsters (2009) is really good so I'll have to make time to watch it soon.
- Was going to go to dinner with Amz and Mia, but they ended up having "devon sausages" or "devil sausages" or something to that effect, so I went home with Nathan instead
- Nath put on Bangkok Dangerous (2008) with Nicholas Cage. I watched about 15 minutes of it and it seemed incredibly lame. Definitely straight to DVD material, but I guess whatever pays the bills. I fell asleep really early for once!
- Potentially attended my last lecture ever! ARHT2656: National and Transnational Cinema Lecture No. 11. We had a guest lecturer who wore an awesome velvet blazer. Need to find one on the Bay to buy Nate. And we watched Bjork in Dancer In The Dark (2000). Bit of a miss for both me and Amz. The musical numbers became torturous towards the end. But I still managed a tear or two.
- Saw someone actually spraying a graffiti heart in the Graffiti Tunnel at Uni. The first person I've ever seen in action!
- Went for a quick trip to Pitt Street and bought a new lipstick. Chanel Rouge Allure in Enthusiast.
- Skipped out on meeting Debbie to practice for our French Oral.
- Went to Chilli Blossom Thai and then Bizzo's for Grafton Primary and Art vs. Science. Proceeded to drink far too much due to the extreme wait at the bar, and was very ill on the way home.
- Studied for my French exam all morning
- Little fuckers on the train made animal noises until we got to Hurstville where Amz got on. So annoying!
- French exam. Made heaps of spaz mistakes. So down on myself afterwards!
- Listened to Grafton Primary in preparation for Bizzo's on Friday night
- Finished my French oral script, finally!
- Walked to Tsuki with Jess. Talked about babes
- Went to visit the Robmeister with Amz. Finally handed in my Offer of Internship
- Posted leggings for Steal My Love. So retarded at posting things.
- Had to wait for a bus for ages with Nath. Bitched about the concept of prepaid buses with no tickets available at the stop. What a shit idea.
- Went to see Tristan's band, The Money Smokers, at The Oxford. It was their first show and they were killer
- Finally bought all of the movie posters that I want
- Started studding my denim vest
- Wrote my Tsuki journal for Uni
- Made a ridiculously strong coffee while speaking to Amz about how down she was because of "the economy"
- Couldn't get to sleep till 3 AM
- Caught the train with Nath and found Bron and Happy
- Played with Jane's Russian Resurrection Film Festival inspiration, the Matryoshka dolls, at Tsuki
- Steal My Love eBay photoshoot at Nath's place with Dee, Mia and Amz
- Amz accidentally posted on a girl's blog under the name of Nathan instead of Steal My Love, saying "you look good in that dress" or something to that effect
- Watched The House Bunny (2009). I do not recommend it
- Woke up without an alarm, just in time to leave. Amazing.
- Went to Uni for French and Film. Spent whole Film tutorial trying to find French quotes in the readings so I could practice my translation
- Travelled nearly all the way home to Miranda to get a photo enlarged and printed for my belated Mother's Day present
- Decided not to go home and miss my French tutorial in case we formed pairs for the oral test. Trekked it back to Uni carrying the flowers and present. Massive mission
- French tutorial was a waste of time, more pronoun practice. But I got my test back and was pleasantly surprised
