August 31, 2009

1. Decided to teach myself Maya and made a little temple using the first few tutorials. Have a long way ahead of me!
2. Tried to win tickets to a preview screening of 500 Days of Summer (2009) because I can't wait any longer.
3. The usual internet search for jobs, courses and answers to my impending post-uni future.
4. Shopping on eBay for a light for my new room.
5. Bistro close. No till for me because Jess told Angela she had to do it, even though she was there first.

August 3, 2009

1. Spent most of the day trying to come up with a present for my sister's birthday. Mum needed it by 5:00 to send to Perth
2. Made a mix CD for my music deprived sister. Probably had more fun that I should have. Fashioned a case out of the empty Black Forest chocolate box. Genius!
3. Considered buying her Tarot cards after I've gotten into them via my iPhone Goddess Tarot App. Ha!
4. Close at the Bistro with Jess and Angela. Hating life. So many bogan mofos.
5. Stan dropped the most amount of glasses I have ever seen. Absolutely spectacular! Just before the plastic cups started being used.

July 20, 2009

1. Tried to organise some things. Booked a bus for Splendour and called Uni a bunch of times to try and fix my enrollment
2. Went to Dee's house. She made a divine lunch like a MasterChef.
3. We took some photos for her blog with a bunch of balloons
4. Mia came over and picked us up. Dropped me at the Bistro
5. Pretty busy, finished early but had to wait for a lift home

June 22, 2009

1. Staying at Krystle's place while she is away in Bali. Woke up and finished Peggle! Yes! Then started to play Scrabble on my iPhone. A new iPhone gaming addiction.
2. Came to my senses and realised I had to finish my application for the XYZnetworks internship program. Fixed my resume and wrote a cover letter. 
3. Started at the Bistro at 3:00. Strange time. Closed with Jess and a new girl.
4. Went back to Krystle's with my swag of Bistro food. Mick's Chicken Goodness and a slice of Banana Caramel cake. Yum.
5. Finished my application for XYZnetworks and sent it off! 

June 4, 2009

1. Jess and I dreamed of our overseas adventures on the walk to Tsuki. Can't wait. More that 300 days though. Shit, it won't even let me book a flight yet.
2. Had a fat chat with Amz on the trip from Tsuki to Uni via ANZ. Talked about her rad internship with Hugh Jackman's mate, XYZ Networks internships and jobs, her French oral and Broken Castle this weekend. 
3. Quick Uni research session. Photocopied what is sure to be useless and irrelevant information for my essay. Makes me feels like I'm doing something. And you have to start somewhere.
4. Received a messages from Nath's Mum, "Matilda Rose has entered the world." So excited! 
5. Straight to the Bistro. Again. Quiet night. Thank God. Iain was hosting the ping pong tournament so had someone to talk to, or rather make desserts for, after Jess left early.

May 24, 2009

1. Worked all day at the Bistro. Open with Georgia. Close with Jess.
2. Shit customers. A woman complained about the sound of the mash potato being made in the kitchen and called me rude when she thought I couldn't hear. Some other bitch whinged about the conditions of Kids Eat Free. 
3. Found out the Jarryd that Nathan knows is not Jarryd from the Bar and the Nathan that Jarryd knows is not my Nathan. Alas.
   
4. Some drunk asshole tried to offer me a lift home when I left the Pub. Gross.
5. Tried to finish my French Oral Script

1. Made Mother's Day breakfast and realised I am a terrible egg chef
2. Whizzed through the discography of The Rolling Stones on the way to work to try and find a song that Nathan knew. Little luck.
3. Mother's Day lunch at the Bistro. Reminder to self roster off next year. Scrap that, kill self if still working at the Bistro
4. Lounged around the pub while waiting for Nath to finish soccer, then found out he was not going home yet. Waste of time, didn't get Mum a present
5. Watched the start of the worst movie ever, The Fall (2006). Amazing cinematography, intolerable plot

1. Made Nathan stay home in the morning
2. Ate an extremely large bowl of Jai Dee garlic and pepper beef for breakfast
3. Went to work early and sat in the sun
4. Unintentionally got a new girl from the bar in trouble when she told me to pick up the "bistro shit" 
5. Wore my lacy socks for the first time and got them all dirty at work
