September 15, 2009

1. Finally put my old sandwich in the bin. Nath took a photo of the day to celebrate.
2. Tsuki all day.
3. Checked my email as I was leaving Tsuki and found out I have an interview for the Clemenger BBDO Grad Program and I will be a digital content producer for FBi Radio. So exciting!
4. Had to retract my helping hand for the Stone Bros. screening on Monday for an FBi meeting.
5. Spoke to my family, who gave me lots of advice fro interviews! Dad always knows best.

1. Tsuki all day. School Holiday gift guides.
2. Found out that I only had two shifts left!
3. Nathan was sick on the way home. Oh no. He is a complete child when he gets a cold.
4. Garlic time for Nathy. Unbearable breath!
5. Watched Pitchfork's top music videos.

September 1, 2009

1. Tsuki all day. Coming to the last month of my internship.Planned Edweana's surprise baby shower and drinks for my goodbye!
2. Walked to Oxford Street to catch a bus to George and found a potential light for my room in an Indian homewares shop
3. Met Nathan and went to see Taking Woodstock (2009). Such a great story. I think everyone wishes that could have been there. The casting was crazy. The actors look almost identical to the people they are playing. Ang Lee did a great job incorporating real events into the film. The toilet guy, the nuns, the muddy hill, the bathers in the lake. Awesome.
4. Caught the train home and educated Nathan on Altamont and the Gimme Shelter documentary. I want to start writing a screenplay about it. It would be a much darker story than Woodstock. The end of the 60's and the hippie dream. How sad.
5. Fell asleep to Woodstock (1970), the documentary about the Festival.

August 27, 2009

1. Tsuki all day.

2. Met Nath, Tash and Simon for diner at a Thai place in Surry Hills. Delicious.

3. Walked to The Hopetoun for Sherlock’s Daughter EP Launch. We were there pretty early and watched both support acts. Kyu were pretty good. The singer from the second band was highly entertaining. It looked like he was making it up on the spot! I couldn't keep a straight face. The kids from Sherlock's Daughter were awesome. They looked so genuinely excited and happy to be there. Must have been a really great night for them.

4. Wore my new velvet jacket. Very regal.

5. Caught the train home. Ergh. Picked up a copy of mX and Sherlock's Daughter were in it. They keep popping up everywhere lately.

1. Big day at Tsuki. Lots of stress in the morning for Ubisoft.
2. Russian Resurrection Opening Night Screening of Taras Bulba at The Chauvel. I was on guest list duty
3. Dinner with Dari and Joy at Thai, then on to the Russian Coachman for the After Party! Free Vodka! Too bad that I was buggered and not in the mood for party time
4. Hung out with Olga from the Stay In Bed shoot. Found out that she is an assistant manager at The Chauvel
5. She introduced me to the owner and the manager. My phone ran out of battery, struggled to get home.

1. Tsuki all day. Russian Resurrection getting closer!
2. Ran to the postal box. Again.
3. Caught the train home with Nathy and mX.
4. Watched The Ice Storm (1997). Little Elijah Wood, Christina Ricci, Katie Holmes and Tobey Maguire. Weird.
5. Tried to find more presents for Nath in the online shopping world

August 11, 2009

1. Tsuki in the morning. Found out about Jess and WD
2. Went to an Art Month event for Tsuki in the evening
3. Convinced Jess to get mash and gravy from Harry's Cafe de Wheels. Yum. I had a huge chicken and mushroom pie with mash and gravy on top!
4. Got rudely rejected by all Taxi drivers because we had food. Finally a taxi driver/comedian picked us up
5. Found Nath, eventually at Central Station, and we went home together

1. Tsuki all day. Stressful times finalising all RRFF promotions.
2. Ran to the post office and got there just in time. Hate running. Hate exercise.
3. Ordered Jai Dee thai. Sooo good. Been waiting for ages to get some, ever since Nate got back.
4. Tash came over and watched the Season Finale of Grey's Anatomy
5. Somehow stumbled onto the old Caringbah High website and forum for our year. Flashbacks. So funny!

August 6, 2009

1. Could not get out of bed. Changed Tsuki to Friday instead
2. Convinced Nath to stay home and finish his literature review instead of going to uni
3. Put Nathan's hair into two ponytails. His dream hairstyle inspired by some anime cartoon
4. Set up my speakers and iPod and cooked dinner. Coconut Rice and Butter Chicken.
5. More Big Bang Theory. Onto the Season 2!

August 4, 2009

1. Tsuki half day. Stressful times for Jess.
2. Let my Id take over while on the phone to Dee and bought M&M's, a packet of orange Tic Tac's, a Golden Rough and a Mint Pattie. Ate nearly all of it before Nath got on the train at Redfern
3. Home while the sun was still up. Nice feeling for poor little Natedog.
4. More Big Bang Theory and Wolverine (2009) as I tried to distract Nath from his literature review
5. Tried to imagine how many people's lives would have been different had a Fuzzy Wuzzy Angel not saved Nath's Grandad in WWII. Nathan would never have existed. Who would I write about all the time?

July 31, 2009

1. Tsuki. Jess and Jane were both away. Moh.
2. Convinced Nath to catch the train to Kings Cross to meet me.
3. Double date, double dinner with Nicole and Mitch. The most delicious tempura chicken at a Japanese restaurant, then sweet and sour main at Thai. Fatties!
4. Met up with everyone at Chingalings, but didn't stay long. Nath was covered in dirt still from soccer and I had to open the next day.
5. Arrived at Nath's house and found a cylinder container from the post office. We both knew it was his Bachelor's Degree from the Gong. I performed a mock graduation ceremony and we opened it. Getting a degree is such a let down. It was two pieces of paper. A certificate and a transcript. I could print that off at home! Five years of university for THIS!!!!

July 29, 2009

1. Slept in and tried to recover from the weekend
2. Emailed Uni about my incorrect enrolment. Finally! Also worked out that my only class will be on Thursdays.
3. Called up sick to the Bistro. Ergh. Changed my Tsuki shift to Friday. All of a sudden have free time! Yay.
4. Hung up my new fur jacket and crazy velvet dress that arrived after Splendour unfortunately. Have to keep on top of my mess in Nath's room. Trish had cleaned up all of stuff and hung it all up while I was gone. Oops.
5. Carlie and I went on a last ditch effort and had dinner and drinks catch up. Haloumi, parma and vodka sunrise! Turning into an alcoholic.

July 23, 2009

1. Full day at Tsuki. Bought my lolly breakfast again. Red frogs, ears, clouds and teeth.
2. Too obsessed with Bibio. Need to find another soundtrack for the train.
3. Jess and I had lunch together and talked about our excitement for Splendour! She was leaving after work.
4. Finished up and caught the world's slowest train home. Coughing fits make train enemies.
5. Went home and retrieved a large carry-on bag. Packed my clothes for Splendour and messed up Nathan's room again in the process.

July 21, 2009

1. Tsuki in the morning. Jess had a bunch of urgent things for me to do so I ended up staying a bit late
2. Mum picked me and and I went back to her work to help Brenda with Dreamweaver. Although I was pretty rusty I think I helped her enough for her to start fixing their website
3. Mum and Brenda were all excited about these lights that change colour with a little wheel
4. Went back home for dinner with my family. Stirfry!
5. Tried to redesign my bedroom. Came up with some good ideas. Box storage above the bed and a long, open metal rack for clothes. Can't wait to move in.

July 16, 2009

1. My room is a demolition site. No more going home!
2. Caught the train with Lewis. Discussed our hopes to bunt the 5 day working week.
3. Tsuki all day. Freezing cold outside. Warm banana bread and mocha inside.
4. Went on an out of office adventure. Pie Face is my new favourite food vendor. Mmm.
5. Went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with Jess. So exciting! I loved it. 

July 14, 2009

1. Decided to go to Tsuki for the second half of the day instead of the first. So much more convenient!
2. Packed all of my suitcases and garbage bags into Nathan's car
3. Tsuki half day
4. Met up with Amy, Cam, Nicki and some of their other buddies for some drinks at Strawberry Hills
5. Home to complete the packing. Will it ever end. Had a quick break to watch the end of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

1. Tsuki all day
2. Bought a piece of white chocolate rocky road. So sickening. I hardly touched it.
3. Felt absolutely atrocious. Fever returning.
4. Went to see Transformers with my family, despite just wanting to go home and get in bed.
5. Mum made us all lolly bags. Just like in the good old days!

1. Lewis saw me waiting for the bus and came back to pick me up. So nice!
2. Progress meeting with Jess at Tsuki. Funny comparing our evaluations of my performance. Awesome sticky date.
3. Stopped at a shop called Dust on my way to the station. I love the font and the way it gives this word that usually describes my allergies this magical, intriguing quality. The shop was pretty cool too.
4. Sat in front of the TV for too long. ANTM final!
5. Finally succumbed to narcissism and made a 'How Well Do You Know Me' quiz on Facebook.
