- Studied for my French exam all morning
- Little fuckers on the train made animal noises until we got to Hurstville where Amz got on. So annoying!
- French exam. Made heaps of spaz mistakes. So down on myself afterwards!
- Listened to Grafton Primary in preparation for Bizzo's on Friday night
- Finished my French oral script, finally!
- Stayed home all day to study for French final exam
- Found out that Steal My Love was featured on The Vine
- Spoke to Dee about blogging and Steal My Love, and replied to her irritated Anonymous comment
- Decided I want to buy a red lipstick for Friday night, hopefully a new D&G one if they are in stores
- Downloaded the new Phoenix album, Animal Collective discography and the newest Grizzly Bear album. Eeek piracy
- Work at Tsuki. Fairly chill day, except for the trials and tribulations of assembling an office chair
- Bought tickets to see Phoenix
- Found out through a brainstorm session for Volvo that they invented the 3-point seatbelt and gave the design away for free. Pretty nice of them
- Caught the train home with Nath and made him listen to Reckless by Australian Crawl. Mimed the words dramatically in an imitation of future RPattz YouTube sensation
- Received my film posters for Marie Antoinette, Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge. Yay!
- Skipped French and Film again...
- Finished writing the first Scenario for my French Oral
- Met Debbie at Manning to write the second Scenario
- French tutorial. Roland kept eating all of my Starbursts
- Had to catch the train home on my own because Nathan had indoor
- Worked all day at the Bistro. Open with Georgia. Close with Jess.
- Shit customers. A woman complained about the sound of the mash potato being made in the kitchen and called me rude when she thought I couldn't hear. Some other bitch whinged about the conditions of Kids Eat Free.
- Found out the Jarryd that Nathan knows is not Jarryd from the Bar and the Nathan that Jarryd knows is not my Nathan. Alas.
- Some drunk asshole tried to offer me a lift home when I left the Pub. Gross.
- Tried to finish my French Oral Script
- Opened at Boost with Tash, Christie and Matt. Tash gave my tie-dye tights back finally!
- Went to Miranda with Nathan. Like taking a whiny child shopping. He bought underwear, slippers and jeans. I bought new ugg boots. So warm!
- Saw Danny working at General Pants. Finally proof that he does work there.
- Tried to convince Nath to buy an iPhone. I definitely need to get a job at Apple
- Was supposed to go to Dee's to chill, but ended up just staying at Naths
- Skipped my Film lecture again...
- Downloaded a bunch of new tunes
- A quick glance at my internet history suggests another eBay binge
- Closed at the Bistro with Chloe and Kayla
- Received this gravy splattered note
- Walked to Tsuki with Jess. Talked about babes
- Went to visit the Robmeister with Amz. Finally handed in my Offer of Internship
- Posted leggings for Steal My Love. So retarded at posting things.
- Had to wait for a bus for ages with Nath. Bitched about the concept of prepaid buses with no tickets available at the stop. What a shit idea.
- Went to see Tristan's band, The Money Smokers, at The Oxford. It was their first show and they were killer
- Went on an insane eBay shopping binge
- Contemplated buying Karen Walker sunglasses, an Unearthen necklace and Matryoshka dolls. Bought the dolls.
- Started to write my Oral script for French
- Tried to decide on my 21st birthday present. Still can't make up my mind a year and a half later.
- Found my sister's Dollarmite deposit book in a pile of things that Mum is boxing up for the rennovations. Discussed the genius of the Commonwealth Banks' Dollarmite marketing scheme with Nathan
- Train didn't turn up so Nath and I discussed our different approaches to time. He likes to get everywhere really early, whereas i prefer to be exactly on time or, more often, a bit late. I hate waiting, he likes to wait and relax
- Found a good magazine shop at Kings Cross, alas they did not have the magazine I was looking for
- Tsuki, Tsuki, Tsuki. Started grassroots pitching for DigiSPAA, a digital filmmaking competition. I want to enter!
- A drunk, dodgy dude at Central Station attempted to grab slash grope me. Only managed to grasp at my arm before continuing on his drunken stumble, but it was the first time I've really ever had someone physically accost me. Sort of scary.
- Ate Thai while watching crappy crime dramas on TV at Nath's house
- Set up my new Uni email for my iPhone. Took nearly an hour. Ridiculous
- Skipped my Film tutorial for the first time. Can't believe I'm not even going to use up all of my allowable tuts off this semester
- Had to start writing our French oral in class. Decided that Le Martian from the first scenario should be "le bebe de Dracula et de la Blanche-Neige"
- Went to indoor with Nath, but started updating my French notes instead of watching the game
- Bought a Cheeseburger, fries, chicken sauce, and an Oreo McFlurry with all of my shit change. Ate it "comme un cochon"
- Went with Nath to pick up Wisey
- Arrived early at work, Scott told me about his girlfriend getting a memberhip for The Ivy. ROF.
- Bored at work all day, major accomplishment was cleaning the coffee cups
- Chloe closed with me and we talked crap about Sydney Dance Company, Jarryd and Kayla and Rohan's hair
- Got to leave work early, tired as hell
- Opened at Boost with Tash, Christie and Matt
- Bought Maccas for myself and Mia, ate it in her car. Told her the story of my Mum's love for Slade and how I had bought her a bowl made out of a bent Slade record at the markets the night before
- Planned on starting French notes but instead had a 3 hour nap. Felt pretty guilty
- Watched the end of The Dreamers (2003). Weirdest film. Equal parts really great and quite disturbing. The best part of the film is when they try to break the record time for running through the Louvre that was made by the characters in Bande A Part (1964). Actually the best parts are all of the film references.
- Started watching Godard's Breathless (1960) but fell asleep just as Jean Seberg began yelling, "New York Herald Tribune"
- Spent a lazy day at home
- Attempted to cross off some things on my to-do-list. Pretty unsuccessful, but did get my uni email up and running
- Went to Finders Keepers markets with Nath, Tash and Simon
- They were too busy so we decided to come back later and went to dinner at Thai Times 9 in Newtown
- Nathan and I tried to convince Tash and Simon to start Latin dancing classes with us. They laughed at my ambition for Nathan to become a professional dancer because he has "the right physique"
- Saw Lara on the train on the way to work. She laughed at Nathan's cartoon cow gloves and how he packed me lunch
- Nina went on the Splendour site just to see if she could and got through, so I bought tickets for Splendour at Tsuki
- Went down to Oxford Street to bank and had a quick stop in Shag and Ariel. Saving money though
- Got our oral test briefing in French, partnered with my little half Frenchie friend Debbie.
- Worked at the Bistro. Nath had to wait for me to finish so had wok vegies and mash. Apparently not that good
- Finally bought all of the movie posters that I want
- Started studding my denim vest
- Wrote my Tsuki journal for Uni
- Made a ridiculously strong coffee while speaking to Amz about how down she was because of "the economy"
- Couldn't get to sleep till 3 AM
- Caught the train with Nath and found Bron and Happy
- Played with Jane's Russian Resurrection Film Festival inspiration, the Matryoshka dolls, at Tsuki
- Steal My Love eBay photoshoot at Nath's place with Dee, Mia and Amz
- Amz accidentally posted on a girl's blog under the name of Nathan instead of Steal My Love, saying "you look good in that dress" or something to that effect
- Watched The House Bunny (2009). I do not recommend it
- Woke up without an alarm, just in time to leave. Amazing.
- Went to Uni for French and Film. Spent whole Film tutorial trying to find French quotes in the readings so I could practice my translation
- Travelled nearly all the way home to Miranda to get a photo enlarged and printed for my belated Mother's Day present
- Decided not to go home and miss my French tutorial in case we formed pairs for the oral test. Trekked it back to Uni carrying the flowers and present. Massive mission
- French tutorial was a waste of time, more pronoun practice. But I got my test back and was pleasantly surprised
- Made Mother's Day breakfast and realised I am a terrible egg chef
- Whizzed through the discography of The Rolling Stones on the way to work to try and find a song that Nathan knew. Little luck.
- Mother's Day lunch at the Bistro. Reminder to self roster off next year. Scrap that, kill self if still working at the Bistro
- Lounged around the pub while waiting for Nath to finish soccer, then found out he was not going home yet. Waste of time, didn't get Mum a present
- Watched the start of the worst movie ever, The Fall (2006). Amazing cinematography, intolerable plot
- Opened at Boost with Tash, Ev and Matt
- Dee gave me lift and we watched an old man do a 5 point turn around a chicane
- Photoshopped a photo for my Mum, minimised Dad's sunburnt face
- Read Linda Goodman 'Love Signs' and 'Sun Signs'
- Had drinks at Nicole's house
- Made Nathan stay home in the morning
- Ate an extremely large bowl of Jai Dee garlic and pepper beef for breakfast
- Went to work early and sat in the sun
- Unintentionally got a new girl from the bar in trouble when she told me to pick up the "bistro shit"
- Wore my lacy socks for the first time and got them all dirty at work
- Decided on the name Vivre Sa Vie for my new blog and made the header
- Got a lift to Sydenham with Dad, so was early for uni
- Sat with Nathan in Manning and said, "you know what I mean" far too many times while justifying this new blog
- Learnt about the story of "la fille du roi" and how she "veut l'etoile" in my French class
- Met Jane and Jess and went to the 2ser party at UTS
- Went op-shopping with Dee
- Bought new boots for $15
- Took photos of my soon-to-be-demolished room
- Sat in the beer garden at Gymea Pub with Dee, Mia, Amz and Lucy and discussed the zine and exhibition for Steal My Love, theme Suburbia
- Watched The Dreamers (2003)
