- Tsuki all day.
- Checked my email as I was leaving Tsuki and found out I have an interview for the Clemenger BBDO Grad Program and I will be a digital content producer for FBi Radio. So exciting!
- Had to retract my helping hand for the Stone Bros. screening on Monday for an FBi meeting.
- Spoke to my family, who gave me lots of advice fro interviews! Dad always knows best.
September 14, 2009

- Caught the train into the city and shopped around Chinatown
- Went to Angela's to meet her, Kit and Sarah. Nicole and Laura also joined.
- Cocktail madness and MTV. Ange spewed.

Septemberr 11, 2009

- Bistro 1:30 till close. Boring.
- Performed a teatowel shower out the back of the Bistro, to spruce for seeing Nath's family.
- Went to Nathan's family reunion to see Taz, Ilkay, Jay and Rachael.
- Was christened Grandma Renee due to my jumper and newly blonded hair. Jay didn't even recognise me and introduced himself! ROF.

September 10, 2009
- Went in to Uni early with Nate and sat at Manning finishing off Popism: The Warhol Sixties. Good book.
- Tutorial time. Amz and I were pretty much the only ones who had done the work. Lucy didn't show up!
- Sat in the sun with my Mar's Bar and croissant and had lunch with Amz
- Met Nath on the oval for Bento, but I'd already eaten.
- Charged my phone at the Apple Store then met Ange and Nicole for a fashion sale and dinner at Thai in Surry Hills.
September 9, 2009
- Went to the Hairdresser's to get my hair lightened even more.
- Read more of Popism: The Warhol Sixties. Addictive!
- Tried to find the Andy Warhol film box set I once saw in JB HiFi.
- Found some limited edition Campbell's soup cans produced in the colours of Andy Warhol's screenprints on eBay. I want!
- Waited for Nathan to come home and surfed the internets.
September 8, 2009
- Tsuki all day. School Holiday gift guides.
- Found out that I only had two shifts left!
- Nathan was sick on the way home. Oh no. He is a complete child when he gets a cold.
- Garlic time for Nathy. Unbearable breath!
- Watched Pitchfork's top music videos.
September 7, 2009
- Research time for my final essay about the Australian Film Industry and Online Marketing.
- Realised you can download Apple Trailers for your iPhone. Not that cool but I proceeded to save the trailers for upcoming films that I am excited about.
- More courses and potential internship company research.
- Just as I went to leave the house, a huge storm came over really quickly! I got on the bus just as it started to rain.
- Bistro close.
September 6, 2009
- Father's Day last minute shopping. Mum came and met me at Miranda.
- Carlie picked me up and we went back to hers where her Mum was trying to fix the breaking wave on Michael's birthday cake.
- Drove down to Stanwell Tops to the Scarborough Hotel for Michael's birthday drinks and lunch. Was a bit chilly, but overall a lovely afternoon!
- Had Mum and Dad pick me up so that I wouldn't get stuck down the coast when everyone decided to go to North Gong
- Gave my Dad his Father's Day present, which he didn't like. Moh.
September 5, 2009
- Boost open.
- Nath picked me up after attending Tiana's birthday party. Can't believe I missed the animals!
- Sat in the sun on Nath's deck.
- Naptime.
- Close at the Bistro.
September 4, 2009
- Spent the whole day readying my application for the Clemenger 2010 Graduate Program.
- Devised an IMC for Tim Burton's upcoming Alice In Wonderland (2010). Tried to pretty my application up with photoshop graphics. Went home to find my uni transcipts. Realised my application was larger that 5MB. Frantically tried to make it smaller. Sent off the application minutes before deadline. Then realised I had a spelling mistake in my subject line for the application email. I am so...Irresistabe. Doh.
- Went in to Uni to meet Nath for the Verge Opening Night.
- Ditched that pretty quickly to meet our friends at the Allawah, where Mia talked shit about Nath. Hilarious!
- Caught the train home with little Nathy.
September 3, 2009
- First day of Uni! Met Amz and Lucy and got super lost trying to find the room. None of us had written down where the class was being held. Genius.
- Forced Nathan to come home early with me! It was raining so badly.
- Tried to find the best Graphic Design course to do next year. Apparently it is my new potential career.
- Also realised how awesome the E-3 Visa for Australians entering the USA would be. Need to have a job first though.

- Tried to find a nice starsign charm for my silver necklace.

September 1, 2009
- Tsuki all day. Coming to the last month of my internship.Planned Edweana's surprise baby shower and drinks for my goodbye!
- Walked to Oxford Street to catch a bus to George and found a potential light for my room in an Indian homewares shop
- Met Nathan and went to see Taking Woodstock (2009). Such a great story. I think everyone wishes that could have been there. The casting was crazy. The actors look almost identical to the people they are playing. Ang Lee did a great job incorporating real events into the film. The toilet guy, the nuns, the muddy hill, the bathers in the lake. Awesome.
- Caught the train home and educated Nathan on Altamont and the Gimme Shelter documentary. I want to start writing a screenplay about it. It would be a much darker story than Woodstock. The end of the 60's and the hippie dream. How sad.
- Fell asleep to Woodstock (1970), the documentary about the Festival.
August 31, 2009
- Decided to teach myself Maya and made a little temple using the first few tutorials. Have a long way ahead of me!
- Tried to win tickets to a preview screening of 500 Days of Summer (2009) because I can't wait any longer.
- The usual internet search for jobs, courses and answers to my impending post-uni future.
- Shopping on eBay for a light for my new room.
- Bistro close. No till for me because Jess told Angela she had to do it, even though she was there first.
August 30, 2009
- Spent the morning in bed with Nath. A day off together!
- Planned a walk and visited my family to get my running shoes. Instead was distracted by choosing paint colours and designing wardrobes
- Nath had to go to soccer shortly, so we went back to his and made his Bento Box for lunch on Monday. We put on Ponyo but I fell asleep and he had to leave before it finished.
- Nath came home and woke me up. We finished Ponyo and cooked crappy pizza for dinner
- I called Nan and Pop and spoke to them for half an hour. Coolest grandparents ever. They'll be home soon and are going to get out the old record player for me.
August 29, 2009
- Open at Boost. When will the torture end?
- Went home before Prue's Birthday shindig, for a quick nap with Nath.
- Overslepped and arrived at The Lounge at 5:00pm. A cocktail and some tempura fish. Delicious.
- Took photos with my Diana F + Instant Back. Trying to learn how to use it.
- Party moved onwards to Northies. No Fusion for me. A lift home with Lewis via Maccas.
August 28, 2009
- Set my alarm for early to finish my journal. Sent it in just in time!
- Split shift at the Bistro. What a shit day. Had to stay back after I opened cause it was busy.
- Went home and felt a strange urge to dance.
- Back to the Bistro. Counting till again.
- Nathan was at a factory rave, so I decided to entertain myself with my new tarot cards and did a couple of readings. Very interesting results.
August 27, 2009
1. Tsuki all day.
2. Met Nath, Tash and Simon for diner at a Thai place in Surry Hills. Delicious.
3. Walked to The Hopetoun for Sherlock’s Daughter EP Launch. We were there pretty early and watched both support acts. Kyu were pretty good. The singer from the second band was highly entertaining. It looked like he was making it up on the spot! I couldn't keep a straight face. The kids from Sherlock's Daughter were awesome. They looked so genuinely excited and happy to be there. Must have been a really great night for them.
4. Wore my new velvet jacket. Very regal.
5. Caught the train home. Ergh. Picked up a copy of mX and Sherlock's Daughter were in it. They keep popping up everywhere lately.
August 26, 2009
- Tried to finish my journal.
- Nostalgia for my uni course. It's so close to over.
- My Melissa + The Wizard of Oz shoes arrived. They fit perfectly!
- Nath's Edgar Allen Poe book also arrived. Only two more presents still to come.
- Bistro close again. Sick of counting the till!
August 25, 2009
- Started my journal properly.
- Realised that it was pretty easy to write from experience rather than from research.
- Decided to convert some of my favourite films from Nath's computer to my iPhone. Vicky Christina Barcelona (2008), The Darjeeling Limited (2007) and Burn After Reading (2008).
- Became obsessed with downloading Wes Anderson's short film, Hotel Chevalier (2007), for my iPhone despite having no internet left for the month.
- Cooked chicken kievs for dinner with Nathy. Marked the extras with pictures of ourselves so none of his family would eat them.
August 24, 2009
1. Woke up and felt very gross. Watched crappy TV for a few hours. How can Foxtel have nothing on! It was obviously a slow news day because reports were luda.
2. Went to Sutherland to the Royal for lunch with everyone from the team. Mia and I were still living it up. Fun to get roped into a neverending bender.
3. Finally back to our own bed. Quick naptime.
4. Close at the pub. Received an artfully crafted plate
5. Evil email session
August 23, 2009
1. Arrived at Seymour for a day of Soccer. Watched the Bonnet Bay Womens’ team. Great atmosphere. No other club compares with the effort and spirit of the Bay!
2. Went to Coles and Dick Smith in between games. Picked up some batteries for my Diana + F Instant Back. Yay! Alas, the first packet of film was exposed when I screwed around with it a few days before.
3. Nathy’s game! So stressful. There was a great turn out with a fair few of our friends, all of his family and my parents. They won, but only be default after extra time and a nil all draw.
4. Back to the clubhouse for insane celebrations with Mia and Nicky. Bomber shots of Absinth and Blue Curacao. Worst shot ever. Stayed at the club till early hours of the morn.
5. Back to Bjows. I fell asleep on the mattress while everyone was still watching TV.
August 22, 2009
1. Boost open. So tired.
2. Nath picked me up and we went back to his for his Family Birthday Lunch.
3. Alecia had made an awesome soccer jersey and ball cake for Nath. The jersey for Matilda was a ruse!
4. I ducked away from the celebrations for a quick snooze.
5. Close at the Bistro.
August 21, 2009
- Big day at Tsuki. Lots of stress in the morning for Ubisoft.
- Russian Resurrection Opening Night Screening of Taras Bulba at The Chauvel. I was on guest list duty
- Dinner with Dari and Joy at Thai, then on to the Russian Coachman for the After Party! Free Vodka! Too bad that I was buggered and not in the mood for party time
- Hung out with Olga from the Stay In Bed shoot. Found out that she is an assistant manager at The Chauvel
- She introduced me to the owner and the manager. My phone ran out of battery, struggled to get home.
August 20, 2009
- Went for a walk for the first time in ages. Tried to run up the hill at Swallow Rock
- Stopped by my house and picked up the Instant Back for my Diana F + and Stanley Booth's The True Adventures of The Rolling Stones. Online shopping coming to fruition.
- Sent Tane a message with a photo of Nathan’s jersey for Alicia to make Matilda a knitted jumper for the game on the weekend
- Exposed a roll on Instax film. Doh.
- Cooked dinner with Trish
