1. Trekked it home from Krystle's in an oversized jumper and uggboots. Classy.
2. Nerdy computer day- finding new music, updating blogs and eBay shopping
3. Had a 'moment' after a day in bed on the computer. Just want to move out and away! I can't wait.
4. Tried to decide what my new reading material should be 'Popism' or 'A Town Like Paris.' Decided that both would just make me long to be elsewhere and probably weren't a great idea.
5. Instead I turned my flower lights on, lit some incense and listened to music until I fell asleep. Ha! I knew I wouldn't remember my moment of discontent in the morning anyway. 

June 24, 2009

1. Wanted to make the most of the previous night's Coles shopping spree. So actually made breakfast. Jam on toast. 
2. Went to Miranda Westfield. Worst place ever. There was nothing to buy! I managed to find a warm, black jacket for going in to Tsuki. So sick of freezing! Also bought a bandage black skirt and stockings and suspenders, which I've been meaning to get for ages.
3. Came home and found Russh on my bed. So got stuck into it for awhile.
4. Close at the Bistro on Origin night. Though it would be a nightmare but wasn't too bad.
5. Back to Krystle's and had Mi Goreng noodles for dinner. The first time I've ever had them. I put the fatty little satchel in and everything. Pretty good! Definitely would eat them all the time if I was backpacking again.  

June 23, 2009

1. Couldn't sleep in the early morning. I felt sick. Had two panadol on the train on the way in to Tsuki, and had to eat some of my cake so I wouldn't get ill.
2. Jess told me about her internship interview with the hot, male model, who was, of course, also a good communicator. So funny! She called him to tell him that he had the position and left a message. He called back and I answered. I could just tell it was him! Had to try not to laugh. Like schoolgirls. Unfortunately new interns have been put on hold. Devastating.
3. Had Mick's Chicken Goodness left overs for lunch. And then the rest of my Banana Caramel cake. Best lunch ever. No offense Nathan. 
4. Jane dropped me to Central and we talked about Spring Awakening and her audition.
5. Caught the train back to Krystle's with Nathan. Watched the start of Orgazmo (1997) an early film by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, of South Park. 

June 22, 2009

1. Staying at Krystle's place while she is away in Bali. Woke up and finished Peggle! Yes! Then started to play Scrabble on my iPhone. A new iPhone gaming addiction.
2. Came to my senses and realised I had to finish my application for the XYZnetworks internship program. Fixed my resume and wrote a cover letter. 
3. Started at the Bistro at 3:00. Strange time. Closed with Jess and a new girl.
4. Went back to Krystle's with my swag of Bistro food. Mick's Chicken Goodness and a slice of Banana Caramel cake. Yum.
5. Finished my application for XYZnetworks and sent it off! 

June 21, 2009

1. Convinced Nathan to come back to mine for lunch with my Nan, Pop and newly returned sister.
2. Tane and Alecia were at Nath's place so we walked around and finally, I met little Matilda Butterworth. She was very cute and content. Not a cry baby at all!
3. Back to my place to say goodbye to Nan and Pop. The grey nomads are on the move and are going away in their caravan for god knows how long.
4. Took Scrabble and Cluedo to Nathan's house and attempted to organise a games night. No one could make it so I played my first ever game of Scrabble with Nathan. He won. 
5. After an entire day of  complaining, "You said I could play Little King's Story today!", Nathan finally got his wish. I tried to finish off Peggle on my iPhone. How exciting.

June 20, 2009

1. Open at Boost with Tash. Rainy and gross. So dead.
2. Stopped at Dee's to pik up the Ice Skater dress and discuss the night's plans
3. Attempted visit to Tane and Alecia's to finally meet Matilda. They weren't home but I left a Berry Crush in the fridge for Tane.
4. Dee's car broke down so Nathan drove me, Dee, Cam and Carlie in to Danny's. Drinks at his house with him and Bec. Then walked down to the Annandale.
5. Missed all the support acts, so straight on to Deerhunter. Pretty awesome. Smuggled in the vodka. Slightly too drunk. Cam had free Big Mac vouchers. My first ever Big Mac! Nath drove us home.

1. Tsuki in the morning.
2. Home to get ready for Pony Up!
3. Went to thai on Oxford Street with Carlie and Michael before the gig
4. Decided to hide my clear orange umbrella, that was part of a dancing costume, behind a bike
5. Saw The Devoted Few and Pony Up! at Oxford Art Factory. Pretty intimate show. Spaz girls with zero sense of rhythm dancing in front of us. My umbrella was gone.

1. Tried to get the Groupie application to work properly on my iPhone. Signed up a last.fm account for it and was amazed at how it scrobbles your iTunes to find out what you've been playing. Crazy!
2. Sent tie dye tights out finally.
3. Booked flights to Splendour. Yay!
4. Continued to listen to the live recordings of MGMT's new songs on repeat. 
5. Closed at the Bistro.

1. Tsuki day! No more walking to Tsuki with Jess cause she's on a health kick and is going to the gym in the mornings.
2. Got a lift home with Jess. 
3. She told me about her crazy night at 2230 and meeting a nice, hot dude who introduced her to all of his friends and half his family! 
4. Pizza for dinner!
5. Went back to Nathan's place.

June 14, 2009

1. Wasn't able to go to lunch at Tane and Alecia's to see Matilda because I had to work. Again!
2. Went home and Auntie Teresa was there, telling Mum and Dad about her trip to Europe
3. Arrived at the Bistro in a foul mood. Was pretty busy, took me all afternoon to polish cutlery and clean up after lunch. Dinner was dead though and I went home early!
4. Kept a tally of staff coffees because I'm sick of making them and wanted to know if I was an overreacting bitch. Made 18 staff coffees in one day. 
5. Home to die. Realised I had to close Monday too. Arghhh.

1. Horrible start to the day at Boost, with Tash and Katie
2. Went back to Dee's and tried to help her get a Tamagotchi application for her iPhone
3. Nath picked me up and I fell asleep at his house while he told me about Physics
4. Woke up and decided to wear my uggboots to the Bistro
5. So tired. But closed with Carlie so not too bad!

1. Tried to wake up at 6:15 to start my essay. But just pressed snooze
2. Finishing off stupid essay references, just put in random references that I didn't really use, as it is a 'research' essay
3. Sent essay off to Nathan to print and hand in at uni. Officially finished uni for the semester! And finished my film major! And finished normal subjects at uni forever!
4. Relaxation before starting a nightmare weekend of work
5. Bistro madness. Saw Jess and took home coconut sorbets for Nath and I.

June 10, 2009

1. Last day off before my essay was due
2. Tried to finish off the section on Night on Earth (1991)
3. Rushed home to get ready for Lily Allen. Nathan thought we would be late.
4. Arrived at the Hordern. Tit-freezing cold. Ate some chips and nuggets at the Fox and Lion while we waited for the line to disappear
5. Went inside and got a seat to watch the Casette Kids. They were decent enough but I really just wanted to see Lily! When she finally did come on she was amazing. Really great live! The crowd was a bit weird. No one seemed to dance or sing along and there were heaps of oldies. Nath and I got our boogie on and sang all the words. Had a great time!

4. Spoke to Amz about her first day at Chaotic Pictures, while walking to station
5. Distracted by 'Talkin Bout Your Generation' which I find entertaining, even if Nathan doesn't

1. Queen's Birthday long weekend. Meant nothing in particular to me as I don't have a full time job. But Nathan stayed home from uni, which was nice.
2. We traded YouTube videos and I finally saw the 'Dancing Man' from Sasquatch Music Festival
3. Watched Lily Allen interviews and performances to get ready for Wednesday night!
4. More essay
5. Room becoming more and more messy as I regress into stressed out uni state

1. Woke up and felt pretty good considering the past day and night of drinking
2. Attempted to start my Film essay
3. Was ridiculously distracted by blogs and my various regular sites of procrastination
4. Found an article called "very definitely not dinner and a movie" that I forwarded to Nathan. Can't wait till uni is over to try out some of the dates
   
5. Thank god for sleep

1. Went to Oatley Park for Broken Castle, a small local music festival organised by some friends
2. Had the best day hanging out on the grass with Dee, Amz, Mia and Nicole. We made a proper day of it and bought drinks, rugs, and a full picnic hamper with lots of cheese, dips and snacks.
3. Watched Bon Chat Bon Rat and Only The Sea Slugs. Really awesome.
4. Stopped at the pub on the way home and asked Marco if a girl had tried to get into Fusion with an open bottle of champagne. It was Amz and he remembered her. I was probably too drunk to be at my workplace
5. Went back to Mitch's house down on the water and continued the party. Nathan came over, we ordered Jai Dee thai, huddled around the heater, braved the cold to sit outside and lay on the floor listening to music

1. Started readings for my film essay. Boring.
2. Found out that MGMT finally made a video for Kids, but my internet was finished for the month and was so slow that I couldn't watch it. Alas.
3. Closed again at the bistro. Third night in a row. Pretty sick of it.

June 4, 2009

1. Jess and I dreamed of our overseas adventures on the walk to Tsuki. Can't wait. More that 300 days though. Shit, it won't even let me book a flight yet.
2. Had a fat chat with Amz on the trip from Tsuki to Uni via ANZ. Talked about her rad internship with Hugh Jackman's mate, XYZ Networks internships and jobs, her French oral and Broken Castle this weekend. 
3. Quick Uni research session. Photocopied what is sure to be useless and irrelevant information for my essay. Makes me feels like I'm doing something. And you have to start somewhere.
4. Received a messages from Nath's Mum, "Matilda Rose has entered the world." So excited! 
5. Straight to the Bistro. Again. Quiet night. Thank God. Iain was hosting the ping pong tournament so had someone to talk to, or rather make desserts for, after Jess left early.

June 3, 2009

1. Nathan stayed home with me for a sick day together. Both of us have a mild cold. Hope it isn't swine flu.
2. Intended on cleaning my room and starting my film essay but instead updated blogs and whatnot
3. Tried to find flights and accommodation for Splendour. Realised there is zero accommodation left. Just as I was thinking we might have to refund our tickets Tash messaged me to say that we can probably stay with her. Awesome!
4. Didn't realise Origin was on, so the pub was ridics busy. Urghh. 
5. Recieved my Matryoshka doll! So cute. But I blew wood chips in my eyes trying to remove the sawdust from inside it.

June 2, 2009

1. Early morning dreams of sleeping through the whole day and forgetting to go to Tsuki
2. Alarm went off and I actually got up and went to Tsuki
3. Started long lead pitching for the Russian Resurrection Film Festival. Apparently Hipsters (2009) is really good so I'll have to make time to watch it soon.
4. Was going to go to dinner with Amz and Mia, but they ended up having "devon sausages" or "devil sausages" or something to that effect, so I went home with Nathan instead
5. Nath put on Bangkok Dangerous (2008) with Nicholas Cage. I watched about 15 minutes of it and it seemed incredibly lame. Definitely straight to DVD material, but I guess whatever pays the bills. I fell asleep really early for once!

June 1, 2009

1. Went in to Uni early to meet Debbie and practice for our French oral. All day... non-stop... for hours....
2. French oral. The scenario was alright. But after that Roland sprung these sneaky questions on us. Such a renegade. It was horrible. I actually whimpered and whined when I couldn't understand what he was asking me.  
3. Caught the train home on my own again. Called Amz to whinge about the oral.
4. Severe headache. Possibly getting sick
5. Couldn't be bothered to watch the Russian Resurrection Film Festival preview of Hipsters (2009) in time for Tsuki. Needed to sleep.

May 31, 2009

1. Woke up and went on a procrastinating binge of YouTube videos. Made Nathan watch Elijah Wood get punk'd.
2. Finally faced reality and memorised my French Oral scripts all day. So tedious.
3. Had Jai Dee Thai for dinner. My favourite. Definite highlight of the day.
4. Watched Next Top Model as a study break. Addictive.
5. Couldn't sleep all night. Kept going over my Blanche-Neige lines!

May 30, 2009

1. Had to open at Boost. Such a struggle. I don't think I would have gotten out of bed if Nathan wasn't there. Felt so fuggin shit. Gave Tash and Christie some attitude as a result.
2. Stumbled around Boost and decided I needed a Panadol and therefore some food to avoid becoming more ill. Bought two hash browns, took two Panadol and drank several glasses of water.
3. Finished Boost and went back to Nath's for a 3 hour nap. Felt so confused when I woke up again. Thought I had slept through my shift at the Pub.
4. Closed at the Bistro with Carlie and Chloe. Discussed the previous night events in depth. Gary wasn't too happy. Carlie counted the till for me. Thank God.
5. Back to bed. Watched South Park episodes until I passed out.

May 29, 2009

1. Potentially attended my last lecture ever! ARHT2656: National and Transnational Cinema Lecture No. 11. We had a guest lecturer who wore an awesome velvet blazer. Need to find one on the Bay to buy Nate. And we watched Bjork in Dancer In The Dark (2000). Bit of a miss for both me and Amz. The musical numbers became torturous towards the end. But I still managed a tear or two.
2. Saw someone actually spraying a graffiti heart in the Graffiti Tunnel at Uni. The first person I've ever seen in action!
3. Went for a quick trip to Pitt Street and bought a new lipstick. Chanel Rouge Allure in Enthusiast. 
4. Skipped out on meeting Debbie to practice for our French Oral.
5. Went to Chilli Blossom Thai and then Bizzo's for Grafton Primary and Art vs. Science. Proceeded to drink far too much due to the extreme wait at the bar, and was very ill on the way home.
